Psychosocial Social Support Services

Psychosocial Social Support services (PSS) program provides supportive services that enhance People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) ability to maintain/improve overall health status through the coordination of comprehensive services that address client’s needs across multiple dimensions. Those services include:

  • HIV support groups
  • Peer support services
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Supporting the care plan developed as a result of the intake and assessment process
  • Transportation provided when needed

Psychosocial Support Services

The Psychosocial Support Service program augments the services provided by Medical Case Management and Early Intervention Services by adding a support and counseling dimension to services to include HIV support group services; nutrition counseling; and peer support
