Interim Guidance for COVID-19 and Persons with HIV

Please make sure that all people living with HIV/AIDS are aware of the interim guidance from Health and Human Services for COVID-19 and Persons with HIV. We do not have enough science to know exactly how COVID-19 will interact with HIV. It is important that PLHIV and the agencies that support them are prepared. The interim guidelines give recommendations for all PLHIV with specific recommendations for pregnant individuals with HIV and children with HIV. It also addresses healthcare workers and HIV clinicians. It was developed collectively by the HHS Antiretroviral and Opportunistic Infections Guidelines Panels, working groups of the Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council.
